Local Chambers Host Back To Business Grant Info Session

The Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn Chambers will host a workshop on applyiing for a Back To Business Grant April 25 at the Oak Lawn Hilton.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Are you eligible for an Illinois Recovery Grant? The Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Oak Lawn Chamber to offer a workshop for a business recovery grant April 25. The workshop runs from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago-Oak Lawn, 9333 S. Cicero Ave.

The Illinois Back to Business (B2B) grant program provides recovery grants for businesses in the hardest hit industries, which includes restaurants, hotels and the creative arts. Eligible businesses can apply for $175 million in grant funding as part of the state’s efforts to suppose post-pandemic recovery.

There will be a 30-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A and a working session where businesses can get assistance with submitting their grant applications. A limited number of laptops and scanners will be provided, however attendees are encouraged to bring their own. Business owners who wish to attend, RSVP at this link.
