EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Itzel Alvarez is the latest Evergreen Park Community High School Mustang Athlete of the Week.

Alvarez scored eight goals over three games in the span of one week, as the Mustangs have soared to a winning record in the early spring season. The soccer star scored four goals in one game twice, finding the back of the net in Evergreen Park's wins over Chicago Christian and Rich Township. She added another three in an 11-0 win over Lindblom.

EPCHS Girls Soccer Head Coach Edgar Montelongo nominated Alvarez for the award.
