Mustang Athlete Of The Week: Jakobi Turner
The boys track star helped lead Evergreen Park to a 3rd place finish out of 19 schools at Olivet Nazarene by winning the Triple Jump event.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Jakobi Turner, a star on the Evergreen Park Community High School boys track team, is the newest Mustang Athlete of the Week.
Turner earns the designation after winning the Triple Jump event at a Feb. 23 high school meet hosted by Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais. As a team, the Mustangs finished third out of 19 at Olivet.
EPCHS Boys Track Head Coach Ray Mankowski nominated Turner for the honor.
