Mustang Athlete Of The Week: Ulises Cardenas
The latest EPCHS player of the week scored in double figures in the Mustangs recent wins over Leo and Reavis.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Ulises Cardenas, a junior on the Evergreen Park Community High School boys basketball team, is this week's Mustang Athlete of the Week. Cardenas earned the honor after pouring in 13 points in a win over Leo at the EPCHS Sunday Showcase and followed that with 17 points in a big conference home win over Reavis.
"Ulises is having a great junior year and is a big time threat from 3 point range," said EPCHS Boys Basketball Head Coach Jim Sexton, who nominated Cardenas and noted that the junior has already connected on 65 three-point shots this season.
