Nolan Sexton Tops 1,000 Career Points For EPCHS Mustangs Basketball
Only a junior, the Mustangs star reached the milestone during a Jan. 27 home game against Hillcrest.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Star Evergreen Park Community High School basketball player Nolan Sexton has surpassed 1,000 points in his Mustangs career. The junior guard hit the milestone total during Evergreen Park's Jan. 27 home game against Hillcrest.
Sexton averaged 15.6 points per game his freshman year and 14.9 his sophomore year, according to EPCHS Boys Basketball Head Coach Jim Sexton.
After the Hillcrest game, he had averages of 18 points per game, 6 rebounds per game and 3 assists per game this season. He had 1,003 career points at the end of the game and has since added to the total with 1,056 as of Feb. 8.

Sexton's accomplishment was recognized during a ceremony before last Friday night's Mustangs game against Lemont. His point total ranks among the highest in Evergreen Park Boys Basketball history.
