OSF Little Company of Mary Welcome First Baby of 2025

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — While others celebrated with ringing in of the new year with bubbly, Normajean Sims and Clarence Williams celebrated by delivering their fifth child.

Decked out in a “Little Miss New Year” sleeper, Nema Naomi-Ann Williams was the first baby delivered in 2025 at OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Evergreen Park. Nema jumped into the world at 4 a.m. Jan. 2. She is one of the first babies from the Chicago region to be born in the new year.

Nema clocked in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length. She is starting the year with love and joy from parents, and her big siblings Kianna, Emonie, Clarence and Kadance.
