Parking Lot Party Kicks Off EP Library's Summer Reading Challenge

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Help the Evergreen Park Public Library kick off this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, Sweet Summer, with a parking lot party Saturday, June 1 at 2 p.m.

The party features a petting zoo, frozen custard from Culver and visit from Skates, the Chicago Wolves mascot. The Science Heroes will bring their dry ice science station, along with Rolling Video Games Chicago will bring the excitement of a video game truck.

While you’re there, sign up the whole family for the library’s summer reading challenge and start logging the minutes you read this summer to earn prizes. Open to all ages.
