• Two-sport star Brusek makes jump to hoops (beverlyreview.net) — Evergreen Park resident Mary Clare “MC” Brusek, a Queen of Martyrs and Marist alum, has pulled off a rare two-sport feat at Western Michigan University, starring in volleyball before jumping straight into Division I basketball. Now a senior, she’s contributing meaningful minutes on the Broncos hoops team while wrapping up an impressive volleyball career and preparing to graduate in exercise science this spring.
