Battery Charges For Evergreen Park Women

Ebonnie Chatman, 19, and Lakesha Nash, 21, both of the 9200 block of South Kedzie Ave, Evergreen Park, were charged with battery, according to a report. The two got into a scuffle over a dispute concerning local children. One woman was struck in the hand with a belt while the other was hit in the head with a hammer.

Heroin Possession Charge For Evergreen Park Man

Kenneth L. Crumb, 46, of the 9200 block of South Kedzie, Evergreen Park, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with an expired license, driving without insurance and having an obstructed windshield, according to a report. Crumb was stopped at about 6:16 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 87th Street. He was arrested for allegedly having an expired license. During a pat down, police found a plastic bag with two straws and a substance that tested positive for 0.3 grams of heroin.

Steger Man Arrested After Drug Bust

Tony Banks, 37, of the 300 block of West 37th Street, Steger, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, according to a report. Police controlled a sting involving an informant. Banks was arrested at about 7:23 p.m. in the 3100 block of West 87th Street. He is accused of heroin and allegedly was found with 2.5 grams in 12 baggies.
