Recycle String Lights And Leave Live Trees Curbside For Pick=Up By Flood Brothers
Recycle unwanted or broken string lights and leave your live trees curbside in Evergreen Park for pickup by Flood Brothers through Jan. 31.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Dispose of your live Christmas tree and get rid of broken or unwanted string lights in an environmentally friendly manner.
The village waste hauler – Flood Brothers – will be collecting string lights that are not working or are unwanted through the end of January 2026. Collection bins are now available at Evergreen Park Village Hall, 9418 S. Kedzie Ave., or the Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St. Lights can be placed in bins during regular business hours through Jan. 31.
Also, starting Jan. 2, live trees can be placed on the curb for pick-up by Flood Brothers, the village’s waste hauler. Trees will be picked up on residents’ regular garbage collection day through the end of the month.
