'Sensational 7' Retiring From Southwest Elementary School
Seven staff members at Southwest Elementary School are retiring at the end of the school year.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Southwest Elementary School is saluting seven of its staff members who are retiring at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
The final page of this year's school yearbook is dedicated to the "sensational seven": Principal Patricia Bogdan, first grade teacher Sheila Brew, first grade teacher Linda Malone, second grade teacher Lori Doyle, technology teacher Eileen Foley, building secretary Therese O'Toole and Mark McDonnell, a longtime custodial helper at Southwest.
In a letter to parents earlier in the year, Bogdan said she hit the "jackpot" when she landed at Southwest.
