EVERGREEN PARK, IL - The 2022 South Side Pizza Poll held by Evergreen Park Community High School is off to a great start, with the four favorites all picking up victories in the first round.

Top-seeded Rosangela's held off a surge by No. 8 Joe's Italian Villa, and (2) Palermo's and (3) Vito & Nick's both notched more than 70 percent of the vote in wins over (7) Beggars and (6) Barraco's, respectively. In the closest match-up of Round 1, it was (4) Fox's defeating (5) Milano's.

This sets up the semifinals, which will be held on the @Epchs231 Twitter page. Vote any time between 4 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 19) and 4 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 20). The tweets that include the polls are embedded below.
