26 Village Of Frankfort Employees Make Over $150K In FY 2021-22

Frankfort Police Department personnel account for 21 of the 26 on the list. Five employees from across all departments made over $200K.

FRANKFORT, IL — To help keep Frankfort readers informed on how part of their Village tax dollars are being spent, Frankfort Patch has compiled a summary of the Village of Frankfort's top paid employees for fiscal year 2021-2022 using information provided by the Village.

A total of 26 Village employees will have earned at least $150,000 in total compensation during the fiscal year, according to Village records. The fiscal year started May 1, 2021 and runs through April 30, 2022.

Of those 26 employees, 21 are employed with the Frankfort Police Department. A total of five Village employees across all departments will have made at least $200,000 in total compensation.

Village Administrator Rob Piscia was the top earner for the Village in 2021, with a total compensation of $232,799.71. Piscia's base salary is $175,002.17. The Village will have paid $57,797.54 in benefits for Piscia, records showed.

The Frankfort Police Department has 21 of its officers making at least $150,000. Tops on that list is Frankfort Police Chief Leanne Chelepis, with a total compensation package of $228,461.39. Chelepis' base salary is $139,500. The Village will have paid $88,961.39 in benefits, including $53,010 toward Chelepis' police pension fund.

Deputy Police Chiefs Kevin Keegan and William Dowding both have total compensation packages exceeding $200,000. Keegan's base salary is $134,733.60 and Dowding's is $132,394.34, with the Village paying an additional $85,535.53 and $84,467.66 in benefits, respectively.

Frankfort Police Sergeant Scott Potter also cleared $200,000 in total compensation, with a base salary of $121,998.24 and an additional $79,721.83 in benefits paid by the Village.
