A Chicago Heights man and woman were arrested in the operation organized by a drug and gang task force, the Will Co. Sheriff's Office said.

FRANKFORT, IL — A man and woman from Chicago Heights are accused of trying to sell more than $5,000 worth of heroin earlier this month to undecover agents who were part of a countywide drug and gang task force, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office. Torriente Robinson, 42, and Teshinya Wilnewic, 43, both of the 100 block of East 24th Street, Chicago Heights, were arrested Feb. 6 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and four counts of the manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, the sheriff's office said.
Agents made the undercover buy near 191st Street and Harlem Avenue, the sheriff's office said. They seized 26 grams with an estimated street value of $7,000, said sheriff's office spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer.
The undercover sting was part of an operation by the sheriff's Gang Supression Unit and the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad, which works with other Will and Grundy county law enforcement agencies, Hoffmeyer said.
