9 Fired Up To Face Off At Fire And Ice Chili Cook-Off

FRANKFORT, IL — The lineup is set for Lincoln-way restaurants to face off in a chili cook-off during Frankfort's Fire and Ice Social Saturday, Feb. 3.

Nine Lincoln-way area restaurants have entered as contestants, ready to bring their best chili to the table from noon to 3 p.m. at Breidert Green. Attendees will sample the goods beginning at noon and until 2:30 p.m.—or until the chili's gone.

In the second annual cook-off, contestants vying for top placings will include:

• Bourbons Smokehouse, 280 E Lincoln Hwy C., New Lenox
• Dancing Marlin, 20590 South La Grange Rd, Frankfort
• Drew's Dogs, New Lenox
• Francesca's Fortunato, 40 Kansas St., Frankfort
• North & Maple Kitchen + Bar, 18401 N Creek Dr, Tinley Park
• Old Plank Pizza Co., 14 Elwood St., Frankfort
• Social 45 Craft Kitchen by: Jimmy O's, 20805 South La Grange Rd., Frankfort
• Trail's Edge Brewing Co., 20 Kansas St., Frankfort

The social also features a live ice carving demonstration, ice games, a bonfire, s'mores, hot chocolate. New this year are appearances from "Frozen" characters Anna and Elsa, Fire Talent Performers, and a Jack Frost juggler.
