Linda had a genuine love for people, she especially enjoyed going on walks, finding peace in the simple moments of life.

Obituary was published and funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home and Crematory.

Linda L. Webb, passed away peacefully at the age of 78, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Edwards Hospital in Naperville. She was born on September 24, 1947, in Montcoal, WV, to the late Fred and Agnes (nee Milam) Freeman.

Linda was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church in River Forest, and she loved the Lord deeply. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, bringing her endless joy. She loves West Virginia, which was always home to her. Linda had a genuine love for people, she especially enjoyed going on walks, finding peace in the simple moments of life.

Linda is survived by her grandchildren, Ashley (Andrew) McCue, Steve (Angie) Stack, and Kellie (John) Gore; great-grandchildren, Leah, Bryce, Harper, Braelynn, Emmalea, and Elijah.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Webb, whom she loved so deeply.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A Memorial Gathering for Linda L. Webb will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her memorial service at 3:00 p.m. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
