Armed Home Invader Captured After Terrorizing 2 Kids: Cops

The gunman entered a home in Prestwick subdivision, police said.

FRANKFORT, IL — Two children were terrorized by an armed man who broke into a house in Prestwick Friday morning, a police source said.

Frankfort Deputy Police Chief Kevin Keegan confirmed one man was in custody in connection with the alleged home invasion.

The Frankfort police, with assistance from other agencies, set up a perimeter and captured the man, Keegan said.

Additional information would be provided later Friday, Keegan said.

The parents of the children were at work when the man broke into the house, a police source said.
