FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department on Wednesday advised motorists to avoid Laraway Road at Ledgestone Way while crews work to clean up an earlier accident.

The Frankfort PD sent an alert out at approximately 7:40 a.m. to notify the public of the crash. At 10:05 a.m., Frankfort PD again sent an alert that crews were on site for clean up and utility restoration in the area.

Fewer than five people have been affected by the power outage, according to information on ComEd's power outages map.

No other information about the crash was immediately available.
