Felony Battery, Drug Charges For Mokena Man: Cops

Arrests made and citations issued by Frankfort police and the Will County Sheriff's Office from Feb. 17-27.

FRANKFORT, IL — The following information is from the Frankfort Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Catherine Parr, 28, of the 14600 block of Avers Avenue, Midlothian, was cited for driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lighting after a Feb. 18 traffic stop at about 8:25 p.m. near Lincoln Highway and River Road.

Her next court daate is March 1.

DUI

Kyle E. Croft, 25, of the 1500 block of Sheffield Avenue, Dyer, Indiana, was cited for driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level more than 0.08, driving in the wrong lane and improper lane use after a Feb. 24 traffic stop at around 2:36 a.m. in the 10400 block of Lincoln Highway.

His next court date is April 3.

Failure To Report Accident

Edwarrd J. Garza, 45, of the 26700 block of South Wildgrass Turn, Monee, was cited by Will County sheriff's deputies for failure to report an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a stop sign, according to the sheriff's office. The citations came after a Feb. 25 traffic stop near West Monee-Manhattan Road and South Center Road.

Outstanding Warrant

Ryan V. Richardson, 31, of the 800 block of Bradley Aveneu, Matteson, was taken in to custody on an outstanding DuPage County warrant during a traffic stop at around 1:10 a.m. Feb. 27, near Pfeiffer Road and Lincoln Highway.

Battery

Jeffrey A. Kaiser, 29, of the 19600 block of Kevin Lane, Mokena, was charged with felony aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance, as well as misdemeanor domestic battery and unlawful use of a weapon following an incident at around 3:20 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 7500 block of Lincoln Highway.

Kaiser was taken to Will County Jail and released on bond.
