The Lincoln-Way East Griffins varsity football team is looking to bounce back after a close loss to Homewood-Flossmoor last week, 24-21. The Joliet West Tigers go into Saturday's game after losing to Bolingbrook.
The Lincoln-Way East High School Griffins face off against the Joliet West High School Tigers Saturday starting 1 p.m. in Joliet.
The Griffins go into Saturday’s game after a close and tough loss against the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings, 24-21. It was the first time the Vikings beat the Griffins in a decade, but the Griffins still hold a winning record at 4-1.
The Tigers head into Saturday’s battle after a rough loss to Bolingbrook last week, 30-6. Joliet West’s record is 2-3 for the season.
