Frankfort Police Host Annual Night Out Against Crime

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department will host its annual Night Out Against Crime event on Aug. 6.
The family-friendly, free event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Breidert Green.
Families can meet Frankfort Police officers, and there will be games for kids, face painters, safety demonstrations, inflatable play equipment, and a touch-a-truck event.

The National Night Out Against Crime is an annual crime prevention event which "strengthens neighborhoods spirit and police-community partnerships," according to the police department.
There will also be free hot dogs for the first 700 attendees.
