Frankfort Releases Dates Of 2025 Special Events

FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort has released its 2025 special events calendar, with a line-up including the Country Market, Art on the Green, Cruisin' Frankfort, Fall Fest, fireworks and more.

Some of the events below are Village-sponsored, and some are held by different community organizations. Here's a look at the dates to remember in 2025:

• Fire and Ice Winter Social (and fourth annual chili cook-off): noon to 2 p.m. on Feb. 1
• Bubbly and Chocolate Walk (hosted by Frankfort Chamber of Commerce): Feb. 23
• Student Government Day: March 3
• Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration: April 26
• Country Market: Kicks off April 27, running through Oct. 26; from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• State of the Village Luncheon: April 23
• Memorial Day Ceremony: May 26
• Community Kickoff to Summer/Chamber Community Showcase: June 1
• Cruisin' Frankfort: Mondays from June 2 to Sept. 22
• Fridays on the Green (hosted by Frankfort Public Library): June 6, June 13, June 20, June 27, July 11, July 18, July 25
• Movies on the Green: June 10, July 8 and Aug. 12
• Concerts on the Green (hosted by Frankfort Chamber): Sunday evenings from June 15 to Aug. 24
• "Get Hooked on Frankfort" Fishing Derby: May 17
• Fourth of July fireworks: July 4
• Fall Fest (sponsored by the Frankfort Chamber): Aug. 30-Sept. 1
• Senior Breakfast: Sept. 17
• Scary at the Prairie 5K and Spooky Sprint: Oct. 18
• Ghost Stories on the Green: Oct. 24
