Free COVID-19 Testing Offered In Frankfort This Sunday
O'Hare Clinical Lab Services, Inc. will offer free coronavirus screening this Sunday, Jan. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Frankfort.
FRANKFORT, IL — If you or someone you know are in need of being tested for the coronavirus, free curbside testing will be available this Sunday, Jan. 3 in Frankfort.
The testing will take place in the Southern Charm Venues parking lot, which is at 23504 S. Harlem.
O'Hare Clinical Lab Services, Inc. will provide the COVID-19 SARS-COV-2, RT- PCR tests free of charge to the public. According to the medical lab, this test has one of the highest accuracy rates in the market and is approved by the FDA, Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Reimbursement for COVID-19 testing is covered 100 percent by all insurance payers with no deductible, copays, or coinsurance or any other out of pocket expense, the medical lab stressed.
People who opt to take part in the free testing Sunday will need to provide a copy of a medical insurance card at the time of testing, according to the medical lab.

Reimbursement for uninsured people for COVID-19 testing is provided by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). HRSA requires that a copy of a state issued identification card and signed attestation that they do not have any medical insurance at the time of testing.
The Kiwanis and Lions Club is assisting the medical lab with the free screening. Anyone interested in scheduling an appointment for the testing or has questions can contact Ken DeLuc at 312-617-8979.
To prevent people from waiting in line, staff will schedule 15 minute time slots for testing. Those interested in being tested will also be sent a simple form to fill out in order to expedite the process. Walk-ins are welcome as well.
Testing Process
Once you arrive at the testing location's designated parking area (pre-arranged lanes), a lab tech will come to your vehicle and will hand over an application to fill out (electronic/paper based). Then, lab tech will collect your insurance info (No Copay, no out of pocket cost to you) and ID, then lab tech will make a photocopy of those docs. Once you complete the given form, lab tech will bring you the test kit along with your insurance info and ID. You can collect your IDs, and then lab tech will instruct you on how you will be using the swab and how lab tech will be collecting the bottom portion of the swab in a test tube.
Note: If you are an uninsured, just provide any form of ID to the lab tech. There will be no cost to you as well.
Obtaining Test Results
Once you complete the test, you will be given a phone number to call. Usually, results may take up to 48-72 hrs. If your result is positive, you will receive a call within 48-72 hrs., and a live person will speak to you directly; in addition, you will receive an email; if your test result is negative, you will receive a text message and an email, and/or you will receive an automated call. In case, if you have not received a call within 72 hrs., you may call the phone number given to you right after your test. Also, you may send an email to result@oharelab.com (include your Name, Date of Birth and Test Date) to request your test result. we will email your test result to you.
