This is the 2nd time during the Memorial Day weekend that excessive heat has damaged LaGrange.

FRANKFORT, IL — The hot temperatures during the Memorial Day weekend has caused concrete to buckle along LaGrange Road on Sunday. The damage has shut down a northbound lane of LaGrange, south of Nebraska Street, according to a Frankfort police alert.
This is the second time this week that excessive heat has created buckling concrete on LaGrange. A similar occurence happened Saturday, but the Illinois Department of Transportation was able to fix it.
