Lincoln-Way Makes 132 Tentative Placements for 2016-2017 School Year
The move comes after 31 teaching positions were cut from the district last month.

After 31 teachers were cut last month, Lincoln-Way High School District 210 made tentative placements for teachers and staff for the 2016-2017 school year.
The shuffling comes after 31 teachers were cut last month, and additional reductions are expected later this month among the maintenance, cafeteria, clerical and paraprofessional staffs.

In moving a total of 132 teachers and counselors, which included 95 teachers from North, 94 percent got their first choice of school, according to district spokeswoman Taryn Atwell.
Lincoln-Way North High School is set to close this June in an effort to save more than $5 million annually, according to the article.
