Phillips Chevrolet Makes Big Donation To Fight Breast Cancer

Phillips Chevrolet donated $10,000 to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative.

FRANKFORT, IL — In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort made a sizable donation Nov. 16 to help those affected by cancer.

Phillips Chevrolet donated $10,000 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative, according to a new release from Phillips Chevrolet.

"On a national level, Chevrolet has partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative for 11 years now, and Phillips Chevrolet is proud to follow suit," Phillips Chevrolet President Curtis Pascarella. told Patch. "In the last few years, we’ve raised over $50,000 for Making Strides."

The American Cancer Society will use these funds for breast cancer research, providing information and support, and programs to help early detection and breast cancer risk reduction, according to the release.

Phillips Chevrolet has locations in Frankfort, at 9700 W. Lincoln Highway, as well as in Lansing and Bradley.
