Progress Continues On Pfeiffer Road Project
The project should be finished by the end of July or early August.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Pfeiffer Road Project should be finished by the end of July or early August, according to a recent update from the Village of Frankfort.
The project, which began last fall, will link U.S. 30 to Colorado Avenue and St. Francis Road.
The Village said that the new video vehicle detection system for the permanent traffic signals will arrive soon. However, the accessible pedestrian signals are current behind schedule.

"Once they arrive, they will be installed and the concrete work at the corner where the temporary signals are presently located will be completed," the Village said.
