Recycle Your Christmas Tree At Main Park

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District and the Village of Frankfort will accept Christmas trees for recycling at Main Park.

Trees can be dropped off at the maintenance parking lot at Main Park, 284 S. Locust St., according to the park district.

Trees must be free of lights, garland, tinsel and other decorations. Trees will be accepted at the park through Jan. 21.

Christmas trees can also be placed by your curb on your refuse pick-up day, and your garbage company will take the tree as part of the regular garbage pick-up.
