Roadwork On Nebraska Street In Frankfort: Expect Delays, Village Says

Pavement grinding and milling was set to begin Thursday, the Village said. The work is in preparation for the re-paving of Nebraska Street.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort is asking residents to avoid Nebraska Street between Locust Street and Maple Street Thursday as Village crews begin roadwork in the area, according to a Facebook post by the Village.

Pavement grinding and milling was set to begin Thursday, the Village said. The work is preparation for the re-paving of Nebraska Street through that section of town, which is scheduled to begin sometime next week, according to Village officials.

Additionally, Village crews are also working on a sewer project on Maple Street between Folkers Drive and Sherlock Street, according to the Village.
