Save The Date For Fire And Ice Winter Social 2024

FRANKFORT, IL — It may only be December, but it's time to save the date for the Village of Frankfort's annual Fire and Ice Winter Social, including the second annual chili cook-off for Lincoln-Way area restaurants.

The social will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Feb. 3, according to the Village website. An entry form for Lincoln-Way area restaurants who want to compete in the chili cook-off will be coming soon.

The social features a live ice carving demonstration, ice games, a bonfire, s'mores, hot chocolate and chili. Event goers will be able to taste and vote for their favorite chili.

Awards will be given to first, second and third place in each category, according to the Village.
