Scattered Outages Remain after Storms Blast the Region
Pockets of Frankfort remain without power.

Throughout the Chicago region 70,000 customers remain without power after storms blasted through are between 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wind gusts up to 70 mph knocked out more than 300,000 throughout the Chicago metropolitan region. The south region got hit the hardest. More than 49,000 are still without power.
In Frankfort, the ComEd outage map shows numerous outages affecting between 5 and 50 customers.
Ashley Dennison, ComEd spokesperson said, the company has no specific restoration schedule. "We're working as fast as we can," she said. The ComEd outage map, however, notes that power should back on by 11 p.m. Thursday for some pockets of the community.

Outages near Route 30 between 80th and S. 79th Avenues:
- Woodvale Road
Outages from 80th Avenue east to Route 45Â
- E. Nebraska Street between Larch and Azalea RoadsÂ
- Franklin Avenue at Willow Street
- Oakton Court between Route 45 and Laraway RoadÂ
