St. Francis Road Construction Begins

FRANKFORT, IL — Construction on St. Francis Road in Frankfort began this week, and will continue for about two and a half months, according to the Village.

The construction is on St. Francis, from La Grange Road to 88th Avenue.

The project includes: curb and gutter removal and replacement, patching, draining structure adjustments, asphalt pavement removal, fresh oil application and new asphalt.

The Village said work hours will be from 7 a.m. to dusk.

"Please drive cautiously and slow down in the construction zone to ensure safety for both you and the hardworking crews," the Village said on its Facebook.
