Woman Jailed on Felony Charge For Alleged Purse Attack At Frankfort Bar

A Peotone woman was locked up on a felony charge for allegedly clubbing another woman in the face with her purse at a Frankfort bar.

Deanna Skrandell, 43, was jailed Friday afternoon on a charge of aggravated battery. The warrant for Skrandell’s arrest carries a $75,000 bond.

Skrandell struck the other woman in the face with her purse while they were at Ryan’s Pub on Lincoln Highway, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.

Skrandell allegedly hit the woman on Oct. 6.
