Frankfort Shares Dates For 2026 Special Events

FRANKFORT, IL — We may have only just started 2026, but the Village of Frankfort and other community organizations have a full slate of events planned for the year.

Further details on these events will come as the dates are closer, but for now, here's a look at what you can mark on the calendar for this year.

January

• Jan. 31, Fire & Ice Winter Social. Noon to 4 p.m. at Breidert Green.

March

• March 2, Student Government Day. Hickory Creek Middle School eighth graders will learn more about the workings of the Village, including a mock village board meeting.
• March 22, Spring on the Green.

April

• April 18, Earth Day Celebration.
• April 26-Oct. 25, Country Market.

May

• May 16, "Get Hooked on Frankfort" fishing derby.
• May 25, Memorial Day Ceremony.
• May 31, Community kick-off to summer/Chamber community showcase.

June

• June 1-Sept. 21, Cruisin' Frankfort.
• June 5-July 31, Fridays on the Green.
