57 New Parkway Trees Will Be Planted In Geneva This Fall

The Public Works Department is accepting orders until Jan. 3 for spring 2025 parkway tree plantings.

GENEVA, IL — This fall, the City of Geneva will plant 57 parkway trees throughout the city.

The fall parkway tree planting is set to kick off Oct. 16, weather permitting.

Residents who want a new parkway tree can place an order with the Public Works Department through Jan. 3 for spring 2025 plantings. The city uses a cost-sharing program where residents pay $150 and the city pays the remaining cost — which they say is more than residents' portion — to plant a tree.
