'Blithe Spirit' Revival Production Coming To Playhouse 38 In Geneva

GENEVA, IL — Playhouse 38 in Geneva is gearing up to put on a revival production of a comedy for three days in August.
"Blithe Spirit," a show about a man whose domestic life is disturbed by the jealous ghost of his wife, will run Aug. 16-18 at the Geneva Park District's community theater, 321 Stevens St.
The show is directed by Christine Retzer and stars Rachael Kay Albers, Kailey Christine, Cana Jones, Blake Malley, Rebekah Pershing, Nickolena Sellen and Carrie Surges.

"Playhouse 38's revival production of 'Blithe Spirit' is going to be wonderful!" Retzer said in a statement. "I'm so lucky to be able to work with such an incredibly talented cast. We've really outdone ourselves with this show, and I highly recommend coming out to see it live in the theatre this August. You won't want to miss this one."
Performances are at 7 p.m. Aug. 16, 7 p.m. Aug. 17 and 3 p.m. Aug. 18. Tickets cost $15 in advance and $20 day-of. Concessions will also be available at each show.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Sunset Community Center or Stephen Persinger Recreation Center.
