Festival Of The Vine Planned For September In Geneva
The three-day festival of food and wine will return to South James and Fourth streets.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva's autumn harvest celebration Festival of the Vine will return to South James and Fourth streets for three days in September.
What began as a celebration of anything grown on a vine and now revolves around food and wine, Festival of the Vine will take place from Sept. 6-8. A variety of local restaurants will be showcased, and wine from around the world will be for sale to accompany bites.
"For over 40 years, restaurants have set up under one huge tent offering three of their favorite signature items," Geneva Chamber of Commerce Communications Director Johanna Patterson wrote in a news release. "Visitors purchase tickets and buy a 'taste' at one of the featured restaurants in the tent."
