Overnight Pavement Work On Randall Road From St. Charles To Geneva

The urethane pavement​ marking project will span from Route 64 in St. Charles to Gleneagle Drive in Geneva.

GENEVA, IL — Overnight pavement marking on Randall Road is scheduled to begin this week, officials said.

The urethane pavement marking project is slated to take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday from Route 64 in St. Charles to Gleneagle Drive in Geneva. Officials said crews are working overnight to reduce daytime traffic impacts.

The work is expected to be completed in one week, weather permitting.

"Motorists should pay extra attention to directions given by flaggers and watch for construction equipment, as temporary lane closures and trucks entering and leaving live traffic lanes will occur during the work," Geneva officials said in a news release.

The program is part of Kane County comprehensive road maintenance program to maintain the visibility of road markings throughout the county.
