Union Pacific Railroad Repairs Planned In Kane County
Full road closures are planned for about two days for each of the eight repairs throughout Kane County.

KANE COUNTY, IL — Repairs are planned for the remainder of August at eight Union Pacific railroad crossings in Kane County, the sheriff's office said.
Repairs will begin Monday, and each crossing will require a full roadway closure for two days. Closures will be staggered so only two roads are closed for one overlapping day at a time.

- Francis Road: Monday, Aug. 19 from 7 a.m. to Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 7 a.m.
- Meredith Road: Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 7 a.m. to Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 a.m.
- Howard Road: Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 7 a.m. to Friday, Aug. 23 at 7 a.m.
- Liberty Street: Thursday, Aug. 22 from 7 a.m. to Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 a.m.
- Pleasant Street: Monday, Aug. 26 from 7 a.m. to Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 7 a.m.
- Countyline Road: Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 7 a.m. to Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 a.m.
- Pritchard Road: Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 7 a.m. to Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 a.m.
- Airport Road: Thursday, Aug. 29 from 7 a.m. to Saturday, Aug. 31 at 7 a.m
