Water Main Break At Fulton, Sixth Streets: Lanes Closed
Traffic near Fulton and Sixth streets in Geneva is impacted Friday afternoon due to street closures as a result of a water main break.

GENEVA, IL — A water main break occurred Friday afternoon near a water main break near Fulton and Sixth streets in Geneva’s historic district.
Geneva Public Works crews are currently on the scene responding to the problem, according to an alert published at 3:20 p.m.
Westbound Fulton Street is closed between Fifth and Sixth streets, and southbound Sixth Street is shut down at Fulton Street while crews work on the repair.

The eastbound lane of Fulton Street and northbound Sixth Street remain open, but drivers should use caution when traveling through the area, officials said.
Franklin and South streets and Fifth or Seventh streets are the recommended alternate routes for Fulton and Sixth streets, respectively.
