Westbound State Street Is Down To 1 Lane: Geneva Staff

The road closure is a result of a private contractor installing a new water service, officials said.

GENEVA, IL — Westbound State Street in Geneva is down to one lane Thursday as a result of water service installation, city officials said.

A private contractor is installing a new water main that requires closing one lane on the road, also known as Route 38, east of the Fox River.

The lane closure begins near School Street. All eastbound lanes remain open as of 9 a.m.
