• GCMS/Fisher girls wrestlers earn medals at Pontiac Invite (fordcountychronicle.com) — Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley’s girls’ wrestling co-op shined this weekend, with McKenzie Miller winning the 145-pound title at Pontiac’s “The Munch” Invitational and teammate Charity Miguel taking fifth at 115. Several other GCMS/Fisher wrestlers gained valuable experience against strong programs from across Illinois, highlighting the growing strength of girls’ wrestling connected to Gibson City.
