GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Village Board is set to consider a $1.5 million purchase agreement to sell the eastern part of the hotel site on Roosevelt Road.

The potential sale to Go Glen Ellyn Two LLC will be discussed at the May 28 board meeting. Village officials say Go Glen Ellyn Two LLC has not yet shared a specific proposal for redeveloping the site.

The parcel of land is part of two former hotel sites along the Roosevelt Road corridor that Glen Ellyn purchased for $2.85 million in early 2022 in the hopes of spurring reinvestment along the corridor.
