Driver Cited After 3 Hurt In Rollover Crash In Glen Ellyn
Monday afternoon's three-car crash took place near the intersection of Western and Geneva.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — A driver was cited after three people were hurt in a multi-car rollover crash in Glen Ellyn Monday afternoon.
The crash took place near the intersection of Western Avenue and Geneva Road around 12 p.m., causing "partial road closures," per an online alert from Glen Ellyn police.
Glen Ellyn Deputy Chief Kurt Vavra told Patch three cars were involved in the crash, which appears to have been caused by one of the drivers failing to yield while making a left turn. Vavra said the driver was ticketed for that violation.

The intersection reopened at 1 p.m.
In an update, Glen Ellyn police shared that the three people who were hurt had sustained minor injuries. No additional information had been made available as of Tuesday morning.
