Adopt Me! Ginger and Shadow
Every week Glen Ellyn Patch will share information about adoptable pets waiting for homes at local animal shelters.
Every week we bring you two pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from the DuPage County Animal Care and Control. We welcome other animal shelters and rescue groups to contact us to participate in this weekly column. To participate, contact Local Editor Mary Ann Lopez.
Shadow
Shadow is an 8-month-old pit bull. She is a friendly young puppy who loves to play outside with people and toys! While she is only allowed to go to a house with no other dogs, she has a lot of canine friends here at the shelter. Shadow would be great in a household with kids because she love them. She is a wiggly girl with a lot of energy, but she also really loves to cuddle. She’s a very smart dog. She has already been to a few obedience classes, and has learned how to sit. I am sad seeing all of my friends getting adopted. When will it be my turn?
Ginger
Ginger is a domestic short hair calico cat. She is 8 years old and is currently available for adoption. She can be found purring away at the Wheaton PETCO.
