All 3 Crossings Blocked By Stalled Train Monday: Police
Glen Ellyn police said the freight train stopped on the tracks at around 11 a.m. Monday and unblocked all three paths across by 1:30 p.m.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A stalled train blocked all three crossings at Prospect Avenue, Main Street and Park Boulevard Monday afternoon in Glen Ellyn, police told Patch.
The freight train stalled shortly after 11 a.m. for unknown reasons, but could be due to a mechanical issue, according to a spokesman for Glen Ellyn police.
"Could be five minutes, could be five hours," Deputy Chief of Police Kurt Vavra said before the train cleared.
