Another Starbucks On Roosevelt? Council To Review Zoning Proposal
The village council will review a proposal for a Starbucks at 405 Roosevelt Rd.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn trustees will review a proposal to build a Starbucks at 405 Roosevelt Rd. At Monday's village council meeting, trustees will vote on an ordinance allowing the planned unit development, a zoning variance to allow a drive-thru, along with other exterior aesthetics for the building.
On Jan. 23, the plan commission held a public hearing and unanimously recommended the proposal.
According to village documents, the proposed Starbucks store would occupy a 2,460 square foot building with a drive-thru. The structure would fill a 36,322 square foot lot that is vacant, with a car wash and Buona Beef located to the west and Andy's Frozen Custard to the east.
Site plans indicate the Starbucks store's drive-thru entrance would be located on the building's northwest side.
