GLEN ELLYN, IL (April 25, 2025) – Bridge Communities will host its 15th annual Celebrating Women, Transforming Lives spring luncheon on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Danada House in Wheaton. This inspirational event celebrates the achievements of women who have overcome homelessness through the Bridge program and those who have dedicated themselves to transforming lives in the DuPage County community.

The luncheon will honor two remarkable women: Gail Niermeyer, receiving the Transforming Lives Award for her outstanding community service and contributions to accessible housing initiatives, and Mame Diaw, a Bridge Communities graduate receiving the Life Transformed Award for her personal achievements and dedication to giving back.

Emmy award-winning ABC 7 Chicago anchor Judy Hsu will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Hsu co-anchors the top-rated 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts and hosts "Our Chicago," a long-format interview segment offering perspectives from local newsmakers.
