Chicken Salad Chick Grand Opening Set For Nov. 18 In Glen Ellyn
The fast-casual restaurant, which offers freshly made chicken salad items, sandwiches, soups and more, will be located at 293 Roosevelt Rd.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Chicken Salad Chick is set to host a grand opening for its Glen Ellyn location on Nov. 18. The fast-casual, drive-thru restaurant will open in the space at 293 Roosevelt Rd. that was once occupied by Tide Cleaners laundry service.
The restaurant's menu puts an inventive twist on chicken salad and also offers sandwiches, soups and dessert items, all of which are made fresh daily. Diners can choose from tradition chicken salad or opt for salads with barbecue, Fuji apples, lemon basil and other ingredients.
Pre-packaged take-and-eat items are also available.

The first 100 guests to attend the grand opening will receive a free chicken salad for a year.
Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce Director Claudia Thornton told Patch community members have shared a lot of positive feedback online ahead of the restaurant's opening.

Thornton also mentioned that Chicken Salad Chick is hiring.
Chicken Salad Chick was founded in 2008 and currently has more than 300 locations throughout the United States. The first Chicken Salad Chick in Illinois opened in Batavia in 2022.
