Crumbl Cookies To Bring Its Inventive, Extra-Big Sweets To Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — If you're visiting downtown Glen Ellyn, you'll find there's a new spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. A Crumbl Cookies location opens Friday at 709 W. Roosevelt Rd., according to the franchise's social media pages.

Each week, Crumbl Cookies customers are greeted with a brand-new menu of six cookies. The rotating menu always features the shop's signature milk chocolate chip and a variation on a chilled sugar cookie. Depending on the day and season, the other cookies on the menu could include such mouthwatering flavors as churro, filled Biscoff lava, lemon glaze, birthday cake, candy corn, macadamia nut, pink velvet, sea salt toffee or circus animal cookie.

Founded in 2017, Crumbl Cookies has more than 200 stores throughout over 30 states, including more than two dozen locations in Illinois. A Crumbl Cookies opened in Naperville in June 2021 and another Crumbl Cookies store opened in Tinley Park at the start of 2023.

Owners Brian and Heather Wardell will be joined by Glen Ellyn village Chamber of Commerce officials on Friday at 8 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting. In a joint statement, they said, "We really are a family in each of our stores. As local business owners, we are looking forward to sharing delicious cookies with our neighbors!"

The Glen Ellyn Crumbl Cookies will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight.
